Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Promises to credit the accounts of each Super Eagles’ player with $20,000 for winning Cameroon.

Sunday, 7 July 2019

This was disclosed yesterday (Saturday) in Cairo International Stadium Egypt shortly after the match by Mr Amaju Pinnick, NFF’s President.

Pinnick said,
“Every Nigeria Super Eagles player will get twenty thousand Dollars for winning today’s Round of 16 tie against Cameroon.”
The announcement erupted jubilation from the players who were seen shouting, “Obi Obi Obi,” repeatedly, in apparent thanks to Mikel Obi, the Super Eagles’ captain for negotiating the deal for the players.

In addition to the $20,000, the Lagos State Government has promised each player $5000 for progressing to the quarter finals.

The bonuses did not end there as Aiteo Group promised the team $25,000 for each goal scored against Cameroon, meaning that the team will get $75,000 from the Group.
